(Sugar Grove, IL.) - Waubonsee Community College turned in a dominating performance in a 5-0 shutout win over Elgin Community College in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference action. The Chiefs' Alexis Coronilla registered her second straight shutout as Waubonsee (5-0-1, 2-0-0) out shot the visiting Spartans 21-2. Isabel Cerda netted two more goals to lead the way, giving her 17 goals already on the season. The freshman from Plainfield South High School is currently third in the nation in goals scored among NJCAA Division I players. Waubonsee also got unassisted goals from Molly Schiltz and Meghan Menzel, while Cerda assisted Kimberly Diaz on a fifth goal as the Chiefs grabbed a commanding 5-0 halftime lead. The Chiefs will look to extend their current four-game winning streak this Saturday, September 15 when they host Richard Daley College from Chicago at noon.
